Rork Projects Take Up the Challenge
On Saturday 28th February, the team from Rork Projects participated in the Proximity Government and Business Triathlon. Rork Projects entered two teams: Rork's Young Guns (Project Manager Nick Mihalic and Office Administrator Maggie Welfare) and Rorkie's Golden Oldies (Managing Director Brian O'Rourke, and Site Managers Greg Morrison and Jim Hudson). The event presented a mental and physical challenge to each of our team members, but they all had a ball.

Easts Rugby - It's Our Union Fight Night
As the major sponsors of both the event and the Easts Rugby Club Canberra, Rork Projects is excited about the upcoming fight night. The Rugby clubs of Canberra are going head to head, but never as you imagined it! Each club has put forward one young man to take up the challenge, mentored by the best from Canberra's Winnunga Boxing. This is an event not to be missed - come along to support your team and see who comes away victorious!
A collaboration built for success
The Commercial winners are Dune Building Design in collaboration with Rork Projects. They have been awarded for their work on Indo Café - new food outlet in the recently refurbished food court in the Canberra Centre ACT. The stand out feature piece about this project is a distinct and elegant graphic design that has been routed directly into Staron in vivid colour - Sunflower.

Rork Projects came away with a win for the fitout of the CPA Office in Rudd St, Canberra City at the ACT MBA Awards held in the nations capital recently. This major award comes on top of recent expansion that has seen Rork achieve sustained success with consistently exceptional results, ongoing commitment to great customer service and a real team approach.

Rork Projects was proud to take out the MBA Award for Conservation/Heritage Refurbishment as recognition for their Jewish Childcare & Community Centre Project.

This project involved the adaptive re-use of the former Giralang pre-school building to a child care centre. Works completed included a comprehensive services upgrade, the installation of a commercial kitchen, landscaping and the renovation of the heritage listed building structure. This win is recognition of Rork's consistency, adaptability and commitment to our clients.
