Head ContractorRork has been involved in a number of projects with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, all involving occupied premises. Following the completion of a number of fitouts in the RG Casey Building, Rork Projects were awarded the tender for refurbishment of the Passport Office in Sydney which was an occupied tenancy. This project was carried out in six stages.
Most recently, Rork Projects was awarded the contract for the RG Casey Building Tenancy Refurbishment works. This major project, managed by JGS Property, is a 12 month contract requiring the highest levels of security and out of hours work. This project involves the services upgrade to the entire building, from Basement to Levels 1 to 5 which are tenanted areas to Levels 6 and 7 plant rooms.
The work involves reticulation of a new fire services system, the replacement of lights, and mechanical services diffusers for more efficient components, and the upgrade of switchboards throughout the building including Main switch Room works.
