Administrative Appeals Tribunal

The story.

Rork Projects was engaged to manage the construction of the 871 sqm fitout at Level 8, 14 Moore St, Canberra City, for the Administrative Appeals Tribunal. The fitout was designed to provide a high quality office and tribunal hearing environment to meet the client's budget and space requirements. The joinery package was the critical trade due to the bespoke timber feature ceiling, signage panels and various cabinetry throughout.
With high security a priority, thorough planning was essential in order to meet the client's requirements. Secure rooms were designed and constructed to cater for the specific task of creating optimal storage conditions for archiving documents and official papers.
Other works included the installation of supplementary air-conditioning units, unique lighting and the relocation of fire services just to name a few.
