Liverpool City Council, NDY EngineersRork Projects was engaged by the Liverpool City Council for the refurbishment and extension of their existing service centre at 33 Moore St Liverpool. Works comprised demolition of the existing food court and shopping arcade (strip out to shell and core) and converting the space into publicly accessible Council Offices. External works included new awnings, shopfront and pavement replacement. Internal works included extensive sub floor construction, (raising floor levels in excess of 1.6m), installation of ramps and stairways, refurbishment of existing and construction of new amenities, new public service area, meeting areas, storage and back of house office space.
Works were completed in consultation with the adjoining, fully operational Police Station to minimise disturbance during construction delivery.
